BBA – Aviation Management

The BBA (Aviation) programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the aviation industry and its operational frameworks. The course introduces key concepts related to airport and airline management, blending theoretical knowledge with practical exposure to prepare students for diverse roles within the aviation sector. Emphasis is placed on developing managerial, operational, and service-oriented competencies required in a highly regulated and customer-focused industry.

Programme Overview

This is a three-year undergraduate programme, structured across six semesters, offering progressive learning from foundational concepts to advanced industry applications. The curriculum covers critical areas such as airport operations (airside and landside), ground handling procedures, aviation logistics, airline operations, customer service management, ticketing systems, check-in and boarding processes, and cabin operations.

The programme also incorporates industry-oriented training, internships, case studies, and practical sessions, enabling students to gain real-world exposure and operational insight. By the end of the programme, graduates are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and professional competence required to effectively manage operations across airports and airline organizations.

Eligibility

Candidates who have completed a two-year Pre-University Course (10+2/PUC) from the Karnataka State Board, or an equivalent qualification from other states/boards, with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, are eligible for admission to this course.
