The Research Cell at Primus B-School has been established on 1.1.2024 approved by the
Academic Council with the vision of fostering a vibrant research culture among faculty
Members and students. Aligned with our mission to promote innovation, critical thinking,
and academic excellence, the Research Cell aims to serve as a dynamic platform for
initiating, guiding, and supporting quality research across disciplines. - Title
This body shall be known as the PRIMUS RESEARCH CELL of Primus School of
Management Studies - Vision
To foster a culture of research and innovation by promoting high-quality, interdisciplinary,
and socially impactful research within the institution. - Mission
The mission of the Primus Research Cell is to cultivate a robust research ecosystem that
inspires inquiry, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration among faculty and students.
We aim to support and promote high-quality research that contributes to the advancement
of knowledge, addresses real-world challenges, and upholds the highest standards of
academic integrity and ethical responsibility.

- To promote and facilitate research activities among faculty and students.

- Composition of the Research Cell
The Research Cell shall consist of the following members:

Coordinator: - Act as the convenor of all meeting’s.

- Assist in proposal writing, publication, and event coordination.
External Member: - Provide expert guidance and mentoring.
- Facilitate external research linkages and collaborations.

- Meetings
- The Research Cell shall meet often as required.
- Special meetings may be convened with the consent of the Chairperson.
- Minutes of meetings shall be recorded and maintained by the Coordinator.
- Research Promotion Measures
- Seed funding for eligible research proposals (based on availability).
- Incentives for research publications, patents, and funded projects.
- Awards and recognition for outstanding researchers.
- Training sessions on research methodology, ethics, and writing.
- Code of Ethics
The Research Cell shall ensure adherence to the following:
- Plagiarism-free work (as per UGC/HEI guidelines).
- Ethical clearance for research involving human/animal subjects.

- This Constitution may be reviewed every 3 years or as needed.
- Amendments shall be approved by the Principal / Academic Council.

- Head of R&D Cell:
The Head will be responsible for the overall direction, management, and strategy of the R&D

Faculty members will be appointed as coordinators for specific research areas such as marketing,
finance, operations, human resources, etc. They will mentor students and ensure that research is
aligned with global trends and industry needs. - Faculty Members:

and guiding student research projects. - organising Workshops and Seminars:
Regular seminars, workshops, and guest lectures will be organized, focusing on:
